Oops! The week got away from me. I finally have the energy to play games! There was a Pathfinder Monday! I think things are looking up!
Click on the first image for a full screen view, and scroll (with your mouse wheel) to see the full text for each gaming experience. Enjoy!
What was played: Love Letter
Who played it: Friends from college whom we haven’t seen in years.
Why: Friends come in from out of town, going to bust out some games.
+1 to family gaming: Our daughter wasn’t home, but our friend’s daughter played with us. She’s in Kindergarten and did very well with the strategy of the game…with a little help.
What was played: Pathfinder
Who played it: Monday group
Why: It’s Monday! We have another full expansion to get through before the next game comes out. Plus, we only have a couple of weeks left before we loose a group member to a writing camp (yay writing!)
+1 to bad guy giant rolls: One of the locations when closed allowed us to lower the difficulty of giant battles by two. It helped out quite a bit considering we ended up fighting the main bad guy three times before finally defeating him.
What was played: Good Cop Bad Cop
Who played it: Monday Gaming Group!
Why: Because we had time
+1 to not need the lie ability: I like hidden roll games, but I don’t like trying to lie. I end up in a giggle fit. This game sort of eliminates that need. It just successfully funded on Kickstarter, so I am sure we will see it in stores in the next couple of years.
