Dear Internet Journal,
It’s Tuesday, March 11! You know what that means: the weekly gaming photo journal is here for you to peruse. Click on the first image for a full screen view, and scroll (with your mouse wheel) to see the full text for each gaming experience. Enjoy!
What was played: Pathfinder ACGWho played it: The normal Monday morning crew. Why: Tradition! We play at least twice a month and it’s great! This time around we finished up an adventure deck. It may be a couple weeks until we get back together due to upcoming spring breaks, but it will happen! +1 to kids rolls: It’s been surprisingly easy to play with kids around. I take my 4-year-old son with me. He plays Angry Birds the board game every time (by himself) There is also an almost 1-year-old who normally gets passed around too. All of the kids are great and rarely add stress to the gaming sessions.
What was played: Fate (An RPG) Who played it: Hubby, myself, and another over 30 couple. Why: It was time to start a new campaign, and this mechanic sounded new and exciting. +1 to successful skill rolls: I am not quick at math like other family members. I dread rolling a d20 and adding my skills and taking away the advantage of the foe. So a mechanic that deals with 4 36 that only have +/- on them so I am only dealing with maybe a skill of 4 with the addition or subtraction of 4 is quite easy to handle so I can concentrate on the story.
This week was rather busy with parenting and adult house-owning stuff that took up my gaming time. I felt myself wanting to bat my eyes at people and say in my worst British accent, “Please sir, can I game some more?”
But GameStorm is coming up so much gaming will be had…and possibly several journal entries.
